Darrell "PeeWee" Thompson

Darrell "PeeWee" Thompson, 61 of Benton, KY passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at his home in Benton, KY.

Born Wednesday, June 13, 1962 in Mayfield, KY  he was the son of the late Harriett (Thompson) Parker.

He worked in delivery at Southside Machine Shop. PeeWee was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan and had a heart of gold willing to help anyone in need.  

He is survived by his brothers, Steven Parker of Benton, KY, David Parker of Benton, KY; sisters, Kimberly Holder of Gilbertsville, KY, Margaret Wallace husband Kenny of Boaz, KY, LeAnn Clark of Boaz, KY; uncle, Ricky "Hunky" Thompson of Hickory, KY; nieces and nephews, Madison, Avery, Dylan, Brian, Keith, Bobby, Brittany, Carl, Allen, Brad, Zach, Jade; and several great nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with the Rev. James Oates officiating.

Interment will follow in New Sand Hill Cemetery, Graves County, KY.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home.
