Danny Joe Goodman

Danny Joe Goodman, 68, of Benton, Kentucky; formerly of Kankakee, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Danny was born in Kankakee, IL August 23, 1954 to Valgene Goodman and Loveda Haywood Goodman. He worked as a heavy machinery mechanic out of IUOE Local 150. Danny enjoyed drag racing, jet boats and unfinished projects.

He is survived by his two daughters, Tami Savoie (Nick) of Manteno, IL and Tina Brand (Charel) of Easton, IL; his life partner, Linda Duckworth of Benton, KY; his mother, Loveda Goodman of Kankakee, IL; one brother, Ted Goodman of Bourbonnais, IL; and five grandchildren, Brooke, Abby, Allison, Molly and Dominic.

He was preceded in death by his father, Valgene Goodman and sister, Regina Goodman.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Collier Funeral Chapel, 211 West 5th St., Benton, Kentucky.

A memorial service will also be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Calvary Community Church in Momence, Illinois.
