Charles Leon Walker, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Neita Faye Walker; cherished son of the late Amy Jenny and Benjamin Franklin Walker; devoted father of Chris (Tammy) Walker, Leisa (Keith) Wilson, and the late Steve Walker; loving grandfather of Christina (Gary), Steve (Alicia), Mike, Taylor (Cody), and Bailey; treasured great grandfather of William, Briella, Lynley, Quinn, Archer, and Audrey; dear brother of Lowell Thomas (The late Leona) Walker, the late Billy (The late Betty) Walker, and the late G.W. (The late Patsy) Walker.
Charles proudly served as a United States Army Corporal from 1953-1955, later attending Murray State College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer at various firms throughout his career. Charles enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, basketball, and softball, and was also a devoted member of Parker Road Baptist Church in Florissant, MO. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Charles's name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home, Burial will follow at Fooks Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
