Charles "Bill" Lofton

Charles "Bill" Lofton, 78 of Benton, KY died on Friday, February 24, 2023, at his residence.

Born Saturday, July 1, 1944, he was the son of the late Ernie Joe Lofton and the late Lucille (English) Lofton.

He was a member of Twin Lakes Worship Center.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbye (Filyaw) Lofton of Benton, KY; sons, Jeff Lofton wife Trish of Almo, KY, John Browning of Benton, KY; daughter, Kimberly Riley husband Robie of Benton, KY; brothers, Welton "Fatty" Lofton wife Phyllis of Benton, KY, Vernon Lofton wife Diane of Benton, KY, Wendell Lofton wife Carolyn of Benton, KY, Billy Lofton of Benton, KY, Randall Lofton wife Carolyn of Paducah, KY and Wayne Lofton of Benton, KY; sister, Jocille Hendrickson husband Mitch of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Joshua Lofton, John Brandon Turner, Jordon Turner, Charlie Browning, Chaney Angle, Kinzie Wyatt; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ricky Browning, brothers, Glendon Lofton, Raymond Lofton, Lucian Lofton, Dwight "Ikie" Lofton; and sister, Faye Jones.

A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th Benton, KY 42025 with the Rev. Jeremy Short and Rev. Chris Buford officiating.

Interment will be in Hartsfield Cemetery, Benton, KY.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home.
