Carrie Lou Clark, age 92, of Benton, KY went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 31, 2022. Carrie was born on July 29, 1930, in Dexter, KY to Adelbert and Lois (Tubbs) Reeves.
Carrie was a faithful member of the Briensburg church of Christ and was a longtime employee of the Bank of Marshall County. Carrie loved to travel with her favorite destinations being Panama City, FL, Gatlinburg, TN and the western states with the highlight being visiting Lake Louise in Banff Canada. She also enjoyed walking in her woods, gardening and cooking.
Carrie is survived by one son, Gary Clark of Benton; one grandson, Dr. Landon (Dr. Teresa) Clark and two great-granddaughters, Caden and Tegan, of Murray, KY. She is also survived by one sister, Debbie Dick (Randy) of Lynn Grove, KY and several nieces and one nephew.
Carrie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Edward R. Clark; sister, Margie Nell Etheridge and brother, Thomas Reeves.
Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home on January 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with Dr. Landon Clark and Bro. Gary Knuckles officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM on January 3, 2023 until the funeral hour.
Interment will be in the Sharpe church of Christ Cemetery.
