Bobby Waddell

Bobby Waddell, 82 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.

Bobby was born in Sturgis, Kentucky on November 18, 1941 to the late Vernon Franklin Waddell and Charlene Cowan Waddell.  He was the proud owner and operator of Bobby's Used Cars.  Bobby was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Sturgis, KY. 

He is survived by his son, Bobby W. Waddell; two daughters, Kim Duncan (Billy) and Mandy Brian, all of Murray; one brother, Charles Franklin "Frank" Waddell of Palma; twelve grandchildren, Erick Duncan, Kenny Duncan, Jake Duncan, Brett Brian, Taylor Brian, Breana Brian, Dakota Brian, Jade Scarbrough, Kaleb Brian, Cadience Brian, Chris Waddell and Britzi Waddell; eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Florence "Midget" Wharton Waddell; his parents; one brother, Billy Waddell; two sisters, Marjorie Euing and Sharon Fraliex; and twin grandsons, Tyler & Skyler Brian.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home with Bro. William Pritchett officiating.  Interment will follow at Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, Kentucky.
