Bobby J. Hughes

Bobby Jewell Hughes, age 65, of Benton, KY, died Friday, March 21, 2025, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, KY.  Mr. Hughes was retired from Commercial Door & Hardware where he worked as a project estimator and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed collecting pocket knives, fishing, watching Murray State Basketball, and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball. 

He was the son of the late Robert Jewell Hughes and Dortha Jean (Rose) Hughes of Benton, KY.

Bobby is survived by his wife: Deana (Conner) Hughes of Benton, KY; his mother: Dortha Jean Hughes of Benton, KY; one son: Brandon Hughes and wife Katie of Evansville, IN; one sister: Glenna Rawls and husband Earl of Mayfield, KY; three grandchildren: Carter Hughes, Callie Walls, and Katelynn Walls; and one great grandchild: Emeri Walls. 

Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 25, 2025.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Cunningham officiating. Interment will be at New Zion Cemetery, Benton, KY.
