Betty Louise Kaler

Betty Kaler, 89 of Benton, KY passed on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.

Born Friday, May 10, 1935 in Benton, Betty was the daughter of the late Louise (Humphrey) Rudd.

She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and worked for many years with her family at Lane's Mobile John. 

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Lane husband Rodney of Benton, KY; brother, John Rudd of Benton, KY; sister, Debbie Perkins of Mayfield, KY; grandchild, Tanya Walters of Benton, KY; great grandchildren, Adison Walters of Benton, KY, Austin Walters of Benton, KY; and great great grandchildren, Rylee Walters and Chandler Walters.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Willie "Bill" Kaler; and sisters, Betty Ward and Mary Perkins.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Mike Littrell and Rev. C.C. Brasher officiating.

Interment will follow in New Zion Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
