Betty Lou Treas

Betty Lou Treas, 96, of Hardin, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Green Acres Health Care in Mayfield, Kentucky.  

She was born on Friday, March 29, 1929 in Mount Olive Community in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Hauteen Smith and the late Refus Smith. Betty loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a love for baking, and she was considered to be excellent at it.

Betty is survived by her son, Randy Treas (Anna) of Hardin, KY; one daughter-in-law, Linda Treas; two sisters, Gela Green and Barbara Evans both of Murray, KY; four grandchildren, Michael Treas of Benton, KY, James Treas of Benton, KY, and Brandon Treas of Hardin, KY; as well as four great-grandchildren, Isabella Ricchio, Gabriella Ricchio, Gage Treas, and Micalynn Treas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Henry Calvin Treas; one son, Richard Treas; two brothers, Hiram and Junior Smith; one sister, Mary Sue Trenholm; three grandchildren, Courtney Ricchio, Ricky Treas, Sherry Treas, and Karen Treas; as well as one great-grandchild, Hunter Treas.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Collier Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Miles officiating.  Burial will follow in the Soldier Creek Cemetery.
