Betty Jo Ward

Betty was born on May 31, 1949, in Benton, KY to the late Thomas Allen Rudd and the late Ida Frances Redd Rudd. She was the wife of the late Cletus Leon Ward. Betty was a home maker and a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church. Betty loved to sew and bake cakes. She loved her grandkids dearly.

She is survived by her sons, Brent Allan Ward of Hickory, KY and Randall Dale Ward of Hickory, KY; brother, John Thomas Rudd of Benton, KY; sisters, Debbie Perkins of Mayfield, KY and Betty Lou Kaler of Hardin, KY; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Leon Ward; sister, Mary Perkins; and her parents.

A funeral service will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY.

Burial will follow in Fooks Cemetery in Benton, KY.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY.
