Betty Dunn

Betty Dunn, 89 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at her residence.

Born Saturday, March 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Milus Darnall and the late Ethel (Canup) Darnall.

She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Mike Edwards wife Sheree of Benton, KY; daughters, Karen Edwards Cooper husband Don of Lexington, KY, Patty Palmer husband David of Benton, KY, Sheila Dunn Brandon husband Franky of Murray, KY; daughter in law, Sheila Litchfield Dunn of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Chris Cooper, Barry Cooper, Brian Palmer, Lori Palmer Williams, Errica Dunn, Jessica Dunn Riley, Zach Edwards, Lensey Edwards Mathis, Jeremiah Litchfield, Jarren Litchfield, Jantzen Litchfield; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Pat Edwards; second husband, Gene Dunn; son, Daryl Dunn; brothers, Curtis Darnall, Floyd Darnall, Kenneth Darnall, Gale Darnall; and sisters, Opal Cope, Gertrude Myers, Edna Dowdy, Wilma Rudd, Louise Randolph, Mae Cope and Vernell Wyatt.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Walnut Grove Cemetery with the Kevin Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Benton, KY.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY.
