Belinda Blakney

Belinda Faye Henson Blakney, 63, of Benton, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Benton on April 29, 1960 to Wayne and Magdalene Henson. Belinda was a homemaker and of the Southern Baptist faith. She enjoyed staying busy by working in her garden, painting, and completing puzzles. She was truly happiest when spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Belinda is survived by two daughters, Heather Marshall (Chris) of Benton and Lynette Dukes (Donnie Newton) of Benton; one son, Kendall Blakney of Benton; two sisters, Rhondia Cox (Louis) of Benton and Cindy Sanchez (Arnold) of Utah; one brother, Kenny Henson (Deadra) of Benton; ten grandchildren, Joshua Marshall, Parker Estes, Dawson Estes, Ian Marshall, Chloee Marshall, Michael Dukes, John Kyler Dukes (Mikayla Little), Nathan Blakney, Kolby Blakney and Kelsie Blakney; and two great-grandchildren, Elijah Little and Bo Dukes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Henson and Magdalene Breezeel Henson.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations made in memory of Belinda Blakney to Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center; 1530 Lone Oak Rd Paducah, KY 42003. The family of Belinda Blakney would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center for the compassion and sympathy they showed during this difficult time.

The graveside service for family and friends will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Ford Cemetery in Benton with Bro. David Little officiating.
