Becky Canup

Mrs. Becky Canup, age 71 of Benton, KY passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Marshall County Hospital.  She was a homemaker and member of KY Lake Cowboy Church. Becky lived her life for her children and grandchildren. She fiercely loved her family and would have done anything for them. Becky enjoyed cooking and celebrating holidays with family.  She had a knack and passion for finding unique gifts and difficult to find toys for all of her family and friends.

Born Monday, November 9, 1953 in Rosiclare, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Louis Bohanon and the late Martha Rebecca (Riley) Bohanon. 

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Charles "Charlie" Canup of Benton; three sons, Josh Canup (Brittany) of Gilbertsville, Justin Canup (Emily) of Benton. Chase Canup (Kayla) of Benton; and four grandchildren, Ava Canup, Charleigh Canup, Nora Canup, and Noah Canup.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Martha Bohanon and brother, Phillip "Flip" Bohanon.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Walnut Grove Church of Christ Ramp Ministries; 85 Walnut Grove Rd Benton, KY 42025

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Bro. Chris Clark officiating. 

Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
