Barbara Waid, 82 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, at her residence.
Barbara was born in Benton, Kentucky on July 10, 1941 to the late Charles Washburn and Mary Henson Washburn. She worked at Walmart and was a member of Hamlet Baptist Church. Barbara enjoyed many things in her spare time; such as, reading, quilting, completing puzzles, writing recipes, and studying Marshall County history.
She is survived by four daughters, Debra Waid of Hickory, Kathy Ford of Benton, Elizabeth Howell of Symsonia and Carolyn Lampley (Chuck) of Symsonia; two sons, Jimmy Waid (Rita) of Symsonia and Jerry Waid of Benton; twelve grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and several great- great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Waid; two brothers, two sisters and her parents.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Hamlet Cemetery with Bro. Jeff Collins officiating.
