Anthony Gray Cassity

Mr. Anthony Gray Cassity, age 71 of Benton, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY.

He was retired from Benton Electric as a General Manager. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Benton United Methodist Church. In 1999, he received a liver transplant from a family he didn't know and lived 25 more years.

Born Friday, February 27, 1953 in Murray, KY, he was the son of the late Anthony Cassity and the late Thelma (Gray) Cassity.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Marian (Grant) Cassity of Benton, KY; son, Brent Lemon of Lexington, KY; daughter, Christi Moore of Paducah, KY; sister, Connie Russell (Mark) of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Grant Lemon of Lexington, KY, Annie Myre of Murray, KY; and several cousins.
