Albert "Jack" Jackson Burton

Albert "Jack" Jackson Burton, 88, of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

Jack was born on Sunday, March 27, 1938, in Fredonia, KY to the late Cynthia Ida Martin Burton and the late Willis Lee “Bill” Burton. He retired as a maintenance supervisor at Westlake Monomers/BF Goodrich after 34 years. Jack was a faithful member of Twin Lakes Worship Center. He was a proud US Navy veteran as well as a member of American Legion Post #68. 

Jack is survived by his daughter, Sonja Jo Collier of Paducah; two sons, Albert Jeffery Burton (Vanessa) of Paducah and Damon Lee Burton (Janice) of Eddyville; two sisters, Rose McKinney and Jo Travis both of Kuttawa; six grandchildren, Autumn Keegan, Amanda Tallman (John), Holly Thompson (Jay), Ryan Burton, Austin Burton, and Jacquelyn Burton; as well as five great grandchildren, Owen Thompson, Parker Thompson, Bennett Thompson, Caleb Ehrat, and Ellie Tallman.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Virginia Faye Kenney Burton; his parents; as well as one sister, Phyllis Burton.
