Susan Jane Toon Tharp Crenshaw

Mrs. Susan Jane Toon Tharp Crenshaw, age 100 of Mayfield, Ky passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 10:00 PM at the Jackson Purchase Medical in Mayfield. Susan was a seamstress at several area clothing companies over the years and was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm, KY. Survivors include her two daughters - Dorothy (Carl) Dodson of Fancy Farm, KY and Marie (Robert) Edwards of Clinton, KY; three sons - Dennis (Peggy) Tharp of Fancy Farm, KY, James (Janie) Tharp of Scott City, MO, and Robert (Karen) Tharp of Louisville, KY; 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents - Harrison & Ada Emmerline (Gibson) Toon; 1st Husband - Ira Tharp; 2nd Husband - Jewell Crenshaw; two sons - Charles Tharp and Johnny Tharp; daughter - Wilma Tharp;  a grandson Jeff Tharp; sister Nora Carter and four brothers - Albert Toon, Charles Toon, Rudolph Toon and Tom Toon. Funeral Mass for Susan will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the St. Jerome Catholic church in Fancy Farm, KY with Father Darrell Venters officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Denis Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm after 9:00 AM on Thursday, February 29, 2024. The Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky is in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers will be her grandsons - Tony Dodson, Thomas Dodson, Michael Tharp, Kris Tharp, Levi Fowler, Jeremy Tharp and Robert Daniel Edwards.
