Joicy Morris

Mrs. Joicy Nell Atkison Morris, age 81 of Water Valley passed away 6:33 PM on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Clinton-Hickman County ICF Nursing Facility. She was a member of Water Valley Baptist Church and was a machine operator at Garen. 
 
Joicy is survived by her children, Greg (Tammy) Morris of Water Valley, KY, Penny (Steve) Edmaiston of Clinton, KY and Tammy (Walter) Pope of Lexington, TN; Maternal Aunt, Marie Thomas of Wingo; 4 Grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Morris of Hickman, KY, Joseph Edmaiston of Clinton, Sydney (Brian) Hawks of Memphis, TN and Lucas McClure of Flagstaff, AZ; Great-Grandchildren, Tristin, Lynna and Lynsey Morris all of Hickman; Bonus Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Preston Baggett, Katie Baggett, Drew (Angela) Pope and Charly, Hunter (Sarah) Pope and Matilda and Shelby (Josh) Cathey and Keegan, Kalex and Leightyn; numerous nieces and nephews.
 
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Winston Morris (died January 30, 1990) and Parents, George Wesley and Delcie Lucille Henderson Atkison, Brother, Kennith Atkison, Sister, Allie Atkison Rogers and Step Grandchild, Silas Pope.
 
Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with Bro. Howard Copeland and Bro. Tony Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held after 12 PM on Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton.
