Mr. Donnie Tharp

Mr. Donnie Tharp, 83, of Salem, KY, passed from this life on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Salem, KY, on October 23, 1938, to Crawford and Ruth Lockhart Tharp.
Mr Tharp had worked as a car man for L & N Railroad.   He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just about any activity which involved being outdoors. 
He is survived by his wife, Helen Tharp of Salem, KY; sons, Mark Tharp (Terri) of Dover, TN, and Buddy Ramage (Amelia) of Burna, KY; daughters, Donna Brewer (Tracey) of Cumming, GA, and Tammy Copenhagen of Grand Rivers, KY; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.  Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour, Saturday, April 2, 2022, in the chapel of  Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
