Magdaline "Peggy" Conyer

Mrs. Magdaline “Peggy” Conyer, 86, passed away on December 24, 2023, at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services. Mrs. Conyer was born on March 31, 1937, in Mullikin, KY. Her parents were Gwendolyn and Roy Holliman. She was a 1955 graduate of Salem High School. On September 30, 1956, she married her grade school sweetheart, Dave Conyer. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with their family business, Conyer Oil Company in Salem, KY. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching and many other crafts. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Conyer is survived by her son, Mike (Vicki) Conyer of Paducah, KY; daughter, Mel (Ted) Gillum of Salem, KY; grandsons, Tyler Porter of Springville, AL and Drew (Hannah) Conyer of Paducah, KY; granddaughters, Emily (Frank) Phillips of Monticello, KY, Katelyn Gillum of Frederick, MD and Chelsey Gillum of Owensboro, KY; great granddaughters, Emma Jane Phillips, Maggie Anne Phillips and Libby Rose Phillips all of Monticello, KY; great grandson, Warner Todd Conyer of Paducah; sisters, Betty Holliman, Connie (Dickie) Berry; sister in law, Dianne (Carl) Ordway of Marion, KY; nephews, Roy (Beth) Berry and Tim Ordway of Marion, KY; niece, Jenny (Brad) Fuller; great nephew, Mason Fuller and great niece, Ali Berry, all of Salem, KY. Mrs. Conyer is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dave Conyer; daughter, Lisa Conyer; parents, Gwendolyn and Roy Holliman; in laws, Lenville and Rosa Nelle Conyer and niece Crystal Lynn Ordway. Special thanks to caregivers Jewell Chittenden and Phyllis McKinney. Also, to Dr. Yazigi and the medical staff at Livingston Hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 1:00PM at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services. Bro. John East and Bro. Josh Bumpus will officiate. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 Noon until the hour of the service at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services
