Mr. Daniel Lee Cowen, 74, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services.
Daniel enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved spending time sitting on the porch, working in his flower beds, and keeping his yard looking nice by mowing the lawn. He also enjoyed cooking and took great pleasure in the quiet moments spent at home doing the things he loved.
He is survived by; one son Charles Cowen of Salem; sisters Sandy (Kenneth) Guess of Eddyville and Diana (Dennis) Jones of Smithland; brothers, Jimmy Cowen of Lake Superior, Wisconsin, Mikey (Wendy Doom) Ramage of Tiline, Ronnie (Frances) Ramage of Smithland; three grandchildren, William (Emma) Cowen, Marlena (Jared) Rolley, Macie Cowen and great grandchildren.
Daniel was preceded in death by; sisters, Pam Cowen Guill and Liz Henson; brothers, Gary “Gabby” Cowen and Kenny Cowen; parents, Harry Neal and Carnelia Ramage (Anglin) Cowen.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 2PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Service with Bro. Howard Jones officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 12PM until the funeral time in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
