Virginia May (Curtis) Collins, 59, of Murray, KY, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2024, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital, Murray, KY.
 
Virginia was born August 1, 1964, in Galesburg, IL, to the late Herman Paul and Esther L.
(Valley) Curtis. She attended Glendale Road Church of Christ.
 
Those left behind to cherish memories of Virginia are her husband, Lindsey Lee Collins of Murray, KY; children, Justin Lee Collins of Murray, KY, Moranda Rena` Collins of Columbia, MO, Ashley Lynn (Jason Ryan Messer) Brown of Murray, KY, Matthew Todd Padgett, Jr. of Cuba, MO and Dylan Paul Padgett of Hopkinsville, KY; grandchildren, Harley Elizabeth Collins of Aurora, KY, Carter Lee Collins of Murray, KY, Caleb Christopher Collins of Murray, KY, Tony Lee Helms, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL; great grandson, Roman Michael Collins of Aurora, KY; brothers Herman Leo Curtis and Paul R. Curtis both of Owensville, MO, and Charles Theodore Curtis of Murray, KY; and sisters, Yvonda Johnson of Puryear, TN, Donna Knopfel of Murray, KY and Esther Jean Curtis of Owensville, MO.
 
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents.
 
A service celebrating Virginia’s life will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home with John Dale officiating.
 
Friends may visit with the family after 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 10, 2024, until the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 South 4^th St., Murray, KY 42071.
