Sue Roberts

Sue Nell Roberts, 91, of Murray, KY, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Lakeway Nursing and Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.
 
She was born April 6, 1932, in Henry County, TN, to the late Crawford Mohundro and Dora (Overcast) Mohundro. Sue retired from Respiratory Therapy at Murray-Calloway County Hospital and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Murray, KY.
 
Those left behind to cherish memories of Sue are her children, Dr. John David (Kelly) Roberts of Elizabethtown, KY, and Dr. Vicki Lynn (Nick) Ridge of Paducah, KY; sister Louise Owens of Benton, KY; and grandchildren Amanda Roberts of Louisville, KY, Austin Roberts, currently serving in the U.S. Navy, and John Ridge of Paducah, KY; one step-granddaughter and four step-great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.  
 
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John “J.D.” Roberts, in 2010; brothers Robert, Harold (Myrtle), and William “Bill” (Betty) Mohundro; and sister Ruth (Everett) Ferguson and brother-in-law, Milton Owens.
 
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4^th St., Murray, KY.
 
Burial will follow the visitation in the Murray City Cemetery, Murray, KY.
