Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Worrell, 67, of Murray, KY, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at her home.
Born on December 4, 1956, in Beech Grove, IN, Becky was the daughter of the late Chester Hussion and Mary Ann (Douglas) Hussion. She was a retired bus driver with the Brownsburg Community School Corporation, Brownsburg, IN.
Those left to cherish memories of Becky include her husband of 18 years, Wallace Frank “Wally” Worrell of Murray, KY; daughter, Angela “Angie” Cheek of Nashville, IN and son, Michael “ Mike” Allison of Indianapolis, IN; and stepdaughter, Amber Freije of Brownsburg, IN; sisters, Marsha Eck of Indianapolis, IN; and Janet Smith of Indianapolis, IN; 8 grandchildren; Joshua, Kaleigh, Elijah, Emaleigh, Alexis, Chloe, Brayden and Riley, and 15 great grandchildren.
"I cannot say and I will not say That she has passed, she is just away. With a cheery smile and a wave of the hand She has wandered into an unknown land; And left us dreaming how very fair Its needs must be since she lingers there. And you-oh you, who the wildest yearn From the old-time step and the glad return- Think of her faring on, as dear In the love of there, as the love of here Think of her still the same way, I say; She has not passed, she is just away."
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
Honoring Becky’s wishes, no public services will be held at this time. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Cartersburg, IN.
