Ramona June Eaker

Ramona June (Galloway) Eaker, 85, of Murray, KY, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at her home.   
 
Born on November 4, 1939, in Louisville, KY, Ramona was the daughter of the late Paul Graves Galloway and Hazel Louise (Stamper) Galloway.  She retired from the assembly department at Fisher Price Toys in Murray. Ramona was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ and a volunteer with the Caring and Sharing benevolence ministry. 
 
Those left to cherish memories of Ramona include her children, Rodney Eaker, wife Tina of Port St. Lucie, FL and Glenda Eaker Hill, husband Sonny of Smithland, KY; grandchildren, Jayson Workman, Jeremy Workman, Kaylee Workman, Andrew Hill, Ashley Lyles, Lydia Starks, Tiffany Krier, Charles Eaker and Mark Eaker; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
 
In addition to her parents, Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Thomas Eaker, whom she married on November 4, 1956; son Charles Graves “Pee-Wee” Eaker, sister Paula Graves Grimes and brother-in-law Dan W. “Buddy” Grimes.
 
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Murray City Cemetery, with John Dale officiating.  Interment will follow the service. 
 
No public visitation is scheduled.
