Oleva June Pritchett

Mrs. Oleva June Pritchett, 85 of Dexter, KY passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Baptist Health, Paducah, KY, surrounded by her family.
 
Born May 26, 1937 on her family farm “between the rivers” in Trigg Co, she was the daughter of the late Barney and Opha (Jackson) Futrell.  Mrs. Pritchett was as avid quilter, spending many hours quilting with her friends and neighbors at the Hardin Senior Citizens Center, Hardin, KY. She was an Avon representative for over 50 years and was a member of the Dexter Missionary Baptist Church in Dexter, KY.
 
Mrs. Pritchett is survived by her children, Rita Parke, husband Robert of Dexter, KY, Timothy Pritchett, wife Alexia of Dexter, KY, and Nathan Pritchett, wife Nita of Kirksey, KY; two brothers, Lanis Futrell of Springville, TN and Glenn Futrell of Harris Grove, KY; and grandchildren, David Butler, Dustin Butler, Luke Pritchett, Joshua Van Waters, Jacob Van Waters, Monica Wells, Emily Howell, Shawn Wilkerson and Billy Nord. Also surviving are 22 great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Edward “Ernie” Pritchett; brothers, Frank Futrell, Vernon Futrell, and Wavel Futrell; and sister, Callie Knott.
 
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home in Murray, KY with Bro. Glen Cope and Bro. David Little officiating.
 
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, November 1, 2022, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4^th St., Murray, KY 42071.
