Nicky J. Lovett

Mr. Nicky Joe Lovett, 62 of Hazel, KY, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his home.

Nicky was born November 22, 1959, in Murray, KY to the late Max Gene Lovett and the late Shirley (Hargrove) Lovett.  He was a self-proclaimed Furnologist, also known as the furniture whisperer, he was co-owner of the Blue Moon Antique Shop in Hazel, KY. He was a member of the Russell’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Murray, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Angela “Angie” (McClure) Lovett of Hazel, KY; two sons, Josh Lovett of Grand Rivers, KY and Jacob (Kayla) Lovett of Buchanan, TN; one daughter, Katie Neihoff of Elizabethtown, KY; daughter-in-law, Tammy Lovett of Murray, KY; sister, Christy (Calvin Dumas) Smith-Walls of Paris, TN; grandchildren, Aidan Lovett, Millie Jo Lovett, Eli Lovett, Fynlee Lovett.  Nicky is also survived by his in-laws, Blondie and Frankie McClure of Murray, KY and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ricky Gene Lovett.
 
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, Murray, KY.  Rev. Dan Leslie will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Murray City Cemetery, Murray, KY.
 
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4^th St., Murray, KY 42071.
