Mrs. Mary Christine “Chris” (Montgomery) Anderson, 65 of Murray, KY, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at home.
Born on October 2, 1959, in Evansville, IN, Chris was the daughter of the late Charles “Tony” Montgomery and the late Henriella “Henry” (Kares) Montgomery. She was a graduate of Murray State University and worked for McDonnell Douglas, Inc. and Hear USA in St. Louis, MO and also was self-employed with Pampered Chef. Chris was a devoted member of St. Leo Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of Chris include her husband, Denis Anderson of Murray; children, Linda Niemeier (Aaron Wilson) of St. Louis, MO, Greg Niemeier of Denver CO, Jason Niemeier of Golden, CO, Ryan (Therese) Anderson of Jacksonville, FL, and Nicole (Danny) Musgrave of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Matilda Nieson, Sam Anderson, Henry Anderson, and Tatum Musgrave; sisters, Carol (Chuck) Schroeder of Austin, TX, Cindy (Steve) McLean of Duluth, MN, and Laura (Tim) Jones of Paducah, KY; as well as many other much loved family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Chris was preceded in death by her brother, Bryan Montgomery.
A funeral mass honoring Chris will be held at 12:05 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at St. Leo Catholic Church, with Fr. Josh McCarty officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Murray City Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until 12:05 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church.
