Marie Dolchan

Hazel Marie (Langley) Dolchan, 89 of Murray, KY, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House, Murray, KY.  

Marie was born October 11, 1952, in Annetta, KY (Grayson Co.)  to the late H. James and Hazel (Nelson) Langley.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, a Master of Arts in Education and completed her KY Rank 1 certification. She was an Art Instructor for the Graves County School system until her retirement after twenty-seven and a half years. She was an avid Equine enthusiasts, prolific artist and gardener.   She was a fantastic wife, mother, grandmother and great friend. She was also a member of the Murray Art Guild.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joseph John Dolchan, Jr.; daughters, Andrea White, husband Doug of Murray, KY and Bobbi Jackson, husband Mark of Murray, KY; son Joseph James Dolchan, wife Kara also of Murray, KY; sisters, Barbara Clemmons of Conyers, GA and Priscilla Witten of TX; cousin, Sara Xavier of Murray KY.  Also, surviving are five grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
 
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 12:05 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church, 401 North 12^th St., Murray, KY 42071. Pastor Fr. Josh McCarty will officiate.  
 
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home. 
 
A prayer service will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, Murray, KY.
