Laura Jeanette Carson

Ms. Laura Jeanette Carson, 61 of Murray, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. 
 
Laura was born February 21, 1963, in Louisville, KY to the late Edward Smith Carson, Jr. and the late Hazel Elizabeth (Freeman) Carson.  She graduated from Iroquois High School in Louisville and attended the University of Louisville.  Laura worked for many years as a Customer Service Specialist at Rotech of Western Kentucky and was a member of the Journey Church in Murray.
 
Those left to cherish memories of Laura include her sister, Jenny Elizabeth Harvey of Murray, KY, and several cousins.  In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her partner, Alan Camp. 
 
A memorial service will be conducted Friday, January 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4th Street, Murray, KY, with Jarrod Martin officiating.
 
Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 noon until the funeral time, at the funeral home.
 
Her family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Murray-Calloway County Animal Shelter, 81 Shelter Lane, Murray, KY 42071.
