Joe Russell Arnold

Mr. Joe Russell Arnold, 82 of Murray, passed away Monday, December 23, 2024, at Murray Calloway Co. Hospital, Murray, KY. 
 
Born February 9, 1942, in Clinton, KY, Joe was the son of the late Loyd Arnold and Katie (Ellison) Arnold.  He worked at the Tappan Stove Company in Murray, and later retired as a chemical operator, with GAF Materials Corporation, in Calvert City, KY.  Joe was a 32nd Degree Master Mason, past Master of Ruling Star Lodge No. 51 PHA in Murray, KY, member of Paducah Consistory #92, also a past Potentate of Balkis Temple #57 in Paducah, KY. Joe honorably served his country in the US Army during Vietnam and was a member, Trustee and Assistant Treasurer of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Murray, KY.
 
Those left to cherish memories of Joe include his son, Jeffrey Lamont Arnold, wife Nicole of Joliet, IL; siblings, Anthony Arnold of Indianapolis, IN, Diane Ivery, husband Donald of Toledo, OH, Georgetta Arnold of Murray, KY, Ronnie Arnold of Toledo, OH and Lucille Arnold of Murray, KY; his grandchildren, Alexandra Arnold and Donovan Arnold, both of Joliet, IL , his very special friend, Marvene Carey and family of North Augusta, SC and a host of nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Geneva Dunbar, Katie Marie Wilson, Harold Howard Arnold, Sr., and Richard Arnold.
 
Friends may visit with the family Thursday, January 2, 2025, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4th St., Murray, KY 42071. Followed by, Masonic Rites.
  
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home in Murray, KY with Elder Scott Brown officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow the service in the Murray City Cemetery, Murray, KY.
