Jerry Glenn Thomas

Mr. Jerry Glenn Thomas, 70, of Murray, KY, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, at his home.
 
Jerry was born September 24, 1953, in Hickman County, KY, to the late Sammie Thomas Jr. and Mary Elizabeth (Partee) Thomas of Columbus, KY.  He retired from Hutson Ag Services in Murray, KY and was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.
 
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Maurice Thomas and Melanie Thomas (Jorge Reyes) of Murray, KY; grandchildren, Malik Idlette, Mia Thomas (Kenzie), Kayla Thomas, Joessiah Reyes, Gabbi Reyes, and Kylan Vaughn, of Murray, KY; two brothers, Donnie Thomas Sr, of Murray, KY, and Ronnie Thomas (Diane) of Paducah, KY; four sisters, Janet Thomas Williams (Tony Barnett) of Wingo, KY, Charlotte Thomas Morris (Shelton) of Mayfield, KY, Bonnie Thomas of Columbus, KY and Reba Thomas of Paducah, KY.  A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends also survive. 
 
Jerry was preceded in death by his father and wife Ethel (Reed) Thomas.
 
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 30, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, with Rev. Anthony Johnson officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Murray Memorial Gardens, Murray, KY.
 
Friends may visit with the family after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 South 4^th Street, Murray, KY 42071.
