Jerline Coleman

Mrs. Jerline (Green) Coleman, 89 of New Concord, KY, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Murray Calloway County Hospital, Murray, KY.  

Jerline was born June 6, 1933, in Buchanan, TN (Paris Landing) to the late Charlie Alma Green and the late Myrtle (Hastings) Green.  She married Joe Pat Coleman on December 26, 1964, at the Paris RLDS Church, Paris, TN.  After school, she began working at Salant & Salant Shirt Factory in Paris, TN, and worked there until she and Joe Pat began their family.  After that, she was a homemaker and helped her husband on the farm.  Jerline was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (RLDS), Community of Christ in Paris, TN.

She is survived by her children, Janet Coleman and Jon Coleman both of New Concord, KY; sister, Betty (Roger) Harris of Panama City Beach, FL; and brother-in-law, Gordon Harris of Manson, IA.  Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Pat Coleman; brothers, Carter Green, Charles Wesley (Margie) Green; sisters, Norene Green, Nell Green, Alma (Wendell) Greene, Mary (Henry) Byrd, Evelyn (Wallace) Wood, (her twin sister) Berline (Charles) Allbritten, and Judy Hans.
 
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, Murray, KY.  Tom Andrews and Joe Andrews will officiate. Burial will follow the service in the New Concord Cemetery, Heritage Lane, New Concord, KY.
 
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4^th St., Murray, KY 42071.
