Herman Henry "Herbie" Knopfel

Herman Henry “Herbie” Knopfel, Jr., 67 of Murray, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at his home.  

Herbie was born in St. Louis, MO on August 26, 1954, to the late Herman Henry Knopfel, Sr., and Wanda (Jackson) Gregory. He was a handyman, a multi-talented tradesman. He attended Glendale Road Church of Christ.

Herbie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna Ann (Curtis) Knopfel of Murray, KY; children; Jeffery Alan Knopfel of Springfield, MO, Elizabeth Knopfel of Alton, MO, Amanda Williams, husband Casey of Murray, KY, Ashley Collins of Murray, KY and Joseph Allen Curtis of Springfield, MO; caregiver to his nephew, Larry Joeallen Martin of Murray, KY; two brothers, Johnny Knopfel of St. Louis, MO and Robin Knopfel of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Tina Knopfel of Cuba, MO and Jody Skaggs of Tom, OK;  grandchildren, Paton, Katie, Zachary, Alice, Casey Jr., Jeffery Jr., Joel and Caleb. 

Herbie was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Martin.
 
A memorial service for Herbie will be held Friday, March 11, 2022, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home with Gary Evans officiating. 
 
Friends may visit with the family after 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, until the service hour at 12:00 noon, at Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 South 4^th St., Murray, KY 42071.
