Don R. Miller

Don Rousseau Miller, 89 of Almo, KY, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation, Paducah, KY.
 
Born in Almo, KY on December 21, 1934, Don was the son of the late Leon Perry Miller and Bessie Mae (Noland) Miller. He was a graduate of Douglass High School in Murray, was member of the Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Almo and attended West Murray Church of Christ. Don worked at Tappan Stove Company, then worked with local farmers until his retirement.
 
Those left to cherish Don’s memory are his sister; Ollie (Bobby) Smith of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Edward R. Miller of Almo, KY, Leon R. (Patricia) Miller of Brooklyn, NY and Carl M. (Susie) Miller of Almo, KY; nieces and nephews, Edward M. Miller, Karen Diggs, Leon R. Miller, Jr., Carlene Y. Miller, Jocelyn Cox, Carl M. Miller, Jr., Kimberly Miller, Shannon Miller, Deidre M. Miller, Khalil Miller and many great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two step grandchildren, Lucillia Harrell of Shelbyville, TN and Kelli Weahunt of Shelbyville, TN; 10 step great-grandchildren and 25 step great great-grandchildren.
 
Don was preceded in death by his parents; wife Kittye Frances Miller who passed away July 13, 1999; stepson, Eugene Banks; and sister, Ruth Gwendolyn Miller-Diggs.
 
Honoring Don’s wishes, there will be no public services.  He will be laid to rest beside his wife Kittye in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Almo, KY.
