Daniel Arron Barton

Daniel Arron “Dan” Barton, 49 of Murray, KY, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
 
Born in Evansville, IN on April 24, 1974, Dan was the son of the late David Alan Barton, Sr. and Jeanne (Hillenbrand) Mason.  He was the Service Manager for TAG Truck Center in Calvert City, KY; having started his career with TAG at the Memphis location, as a technician. Dan honorably served his country as a Specialist in the United States Army.
 
Those left behind to cherish memories of Dan are his wife of 31 years, Carol Ann “Cary” (Hartmann) Barton of Murray, KY; son, Trevor Barton of Byhalia, MS; mother, Jeanne Mason of Evansville, IN; sister, Karla Bradley of Evansville, IN; brother, Brandon Barton of Colorado; grandparents, Robert and Joan Barton of Evansville, IN; step-mother, Lynnette (Jerry) Rapplean; mother-in-law, Carol (Rod Anderson) Hile of Chandler, IN; aunt, Janet (Danny) Koester; cousin, Kalah (Ryan) Muensterman; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Roger) Lind and Chris Pate; bonus brothers, Jimmy (Tina) Ferguson and Bobby (Amy) Clark; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
 
In addition to his father, David Alan Barton, Sr., Dan was preceded in death by his brother, David Alan Barton, Jr.
 
The Barton family will hold a celebration of life service for Dan at a later date.
