Charles "Teddy" Morris

Mr. Charles “Teddy” Morris, 91 of Murray, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the home of his son and daughter-in-law. 
 
Born February 13, 1933, in Calloway County, Teddy was the son of the late Ralph Conner Morris and the late Mary Dell (Gordon) Morris.  He worked in the automotive industry his entire working career, as a wholesale/retail car dealer.  Teddy honorably served his country in the US Army, and he was of Presbyterian faith.
 
Those left to cherish memories of Teddy include his wife, Sheila (Duke) Morris of Murray, KY, whom he married on December 25, 1955 in Corinth, MS; children, Sherry (Guy) Mitchell, Teri (Tommy) Futrell and Ken Morris (Angie Lee-Morris), all of Murray, KY; sister, Charlotte Flake of Murray, KY; grandchildren, Trent (Kela) Travis and Trey Travis, both of Dexter, KY, Brittain Mitchell and Bryceton Mitchell, both of Nashville, TN, Cassity (Austin) Tabers, Chase (Chelsea) Futrell and Taylor (Caide) Fraser, all of Murray, KY, Adario Mercadante of Los Angeles, CA; and great-grandchildren, Nash, Nevie, and Nate Travis, Riggins and Rhett Futrell, Liam and Luke Fraser.

Private family graveside services will be conducted at Elm Grove Cemetery with Bro. Sammy Cunningham officiating.  Burial will follow the service.
 
There will be no public visitation.
 
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Teddy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; Humane Society of Calloway County, Suite A, 607 Poplar Street, Murray, KY 42071 or to the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House, c/o The Foundation at MCCH, 803 Poplar Street, Murray, KY 42071.
