Mr. Charles C. Wilford, 93, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Mills Nursing & Rehabilitation in Mayfield, KY.
Born August 15, 1931 in Graves County, KY, Charles was the son of the late Chester and Goldie (Taylor) Wilford. He was a retired from K.T. Clay Company and a member of Folsomdale Church of Christ in Boaz, KY.
Charles is survived by his sons, Charles “Butch” Wilford and Randy K. Wilford, both of Mayfield; grandchildren, Deidre Wilford, Shelley Wilford, Jessica Wilford and Nikki Cagle; great-grandchildren, Ashlie Wilford, Taylor Kendall, Aurora Wilford, Orion Wilford, and Phoenix, Elias and Abigail Cagle.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife Danese (Nowland) Wilford, daughter, Rita Faye Wilford, and a granddaughter, Shanna Litchfield.
Honoring Charles’ wishes, there will be no public services held. Burial will be in the Green Plains Cemetery, Hazel, KY.
