Mr. Carl Dalton, 81, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray.
Born December 27, 1942, in Calloway County, to the late John Leslie Dalton and Sylvia (Key) Dalton, Mr. Dalton was employed as an electrician/HVAC repair technician at Fisher Price/Mattel and was a member of the Purchase Area Antique Tractor Club (PAATC) and Hazel Baptist Church, where he served as leader of the senior adults.
Those left to cherish memories of Mr. Dalton include his wife of 53 years, Patricia Dalton; sisters-in-law, Joyce Lee of Murray, KY, Susan Lee of Paris, TN, and Glenda Gore of Henry, TN; brother-in-law, Benny Fries of Paris, TN; nieces, Tabitha (Russ) Wimberley of Mansfield, TN and Kelley Fries of Paris, TN; nephews, Brad (Gretchen) Young of Nashville, TN, Brian Lee, Clint (Tracy) Lee, and Erick (Jamie) Young, all of Murray, KY. Also surviving are great-nieces, Annaston, Keragan, Madison, and Romie Young; and great-nephews Philip Myrick and Knox Young.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Fries; and brothers-in-law, Glenn Lee, Jerry M. Lee, and Roger Gore; and sister-in-law Linda Young.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Blalock-Coleman Funeral Home, 713 S. 4th Street, Murray, KY, with Rev. Jordan Roach officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens, with Brad Young, Brian Lee, Clint Lee, Erick Young, Sandy Lassiter and Tony Raspberry serving as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral time of 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
