Worker trapped under auger of McCracken salt truck

A worker was reported to be trapped under the auger of a salt truck Tuesday morning at the McCracken County Road department facility.

The Concord Fire Department posted that their staff along with Paducah Fire Department and Mercy Regional EMS worked on the scene for nearly 45 minutes to free the worker.

He was taken to Lourdes Mercy Health for treatment.
