A Calloway County woman was sentenced to prison on Tuesday for illegally transporting a stolen firearm that was eventually used to kill Chief Deputy Jody Cash.
Officials say 35-year-old Denise Collins illegally received and transported a firearm from Tennessee to Kentucky last year.
The gun was eventually used by Gary Rowland to kill Cash.
Collins was sentenced to 18 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.
