A woman in custody in Prestonsburg on other charges has been linked to a June burglary in Paducah.

The burglary took place in the Farley area on June 27th when power tools, two dirtbikes, and several firearms were allegedly stolen.

On Sunday, Prestonsburg Police notified McCracken County deputies that one of the firearms had been located, along with one of the suspects in the case.

On Monday, detectives got an arrest warrant and served it on 35-year-old Chrystal L. Newcomb of Paducah. Newcomb is currently in the Floyd County Jail on other charges.

Charges in the Paducah case include burglary, theft by unlawful taking under $1,000, and theft by unlawful taking of a motor vehicle under $1,000.
