Mayfield Mayor Teresa Rochetti-Cantrell tells West Kentucky Star that damage appeared to be limited to the front area of the building. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says that investigators are looking into the suspicious fire. The blaze was reported at around 1:30 am Saturday, 911 dispatch received a call of a fire at the construction site of the restaurant on US45 North.
Cracker Barrel had representatives on the scene Saturday morning, according to Redmon, and they told investigators that construction plans are still moving forward.
