Shooting: Hopkins Woman Killed, Husband Injured

Kentucky State Police have a juvenile in custody in connection to the Sunday night shooting death of a Hopkins County woman and the serious injury inflicted upon her husband.
 
Officers say 45-year-old Rose M. Riley, and her husband, 51-year-old Keith R. Riley, were shot outside their home on Dalton Road shortly before 10 pm.  Rose Riley was pronounced dead at the scene by Hopkins County Coroner Dennis Mayfield. Keith Riley was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital where he is listed in serious condition. 

The juvenile is charged with murder and attempted murder, and is lodged in the Warren County Regional Juvenile Detention Center. 

The investigation is still underway.
