Two people face multiple drug charges in Calloway County after police searched their home.

According to Kentucky State Police, troopers were investigating a harassment complaint on Deerpath Trail in Murray Tuesday night when they were given consent to search the home.

Troopers located four marijuana plants in an indoor growing operation, along with numerous firearms and various prescription medications. According to police, one of the firearms had been previously reported stolen from McCracken County. 

Police arrested 44-year-old Douglas A. Cornwell of Murray, charging him with cultivation of marijuana less than five plants (firearm enhanced), possession of marijuana (firearm enhanced), possession of drug paraphernalia (firearm enhanced) and receiving a stolen firearm.

Also arrested was 49-year-old Tonya M. Cornwell of Murray, charged with cultivation of marijuana less than five plants (firearm enhanced), possession of marijuana (firearm enhanced), possession of drug paraphernalia, (firearm enhanced), tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a legend drug, and prescription drug not in the proper container.

Both were lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
