Two people wanted on charges out of Marshall County are now facing gun charges after a traffic stop on Thursday.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies stopped a truck driven by 51-year-old Jason G. Darnell along Oaks Road just after 8:30 p.m. During the stop, a handgun was located in the vehicle. Both Darnell and his passenger, 45-year-old Amanda K. Hall, have felony convictions on their record and therefore cannot possess a gun.

The two also had outstanding warrants for theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 out of Marshall County. They were arrested on the warrants and charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Darnell was also charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license.
