A man in Stella was rescued from a burning mobile home on Tuesday and flown to an out-of-state hospital.
When members of Calloway County Fire and Rescue arrived at the 5000 block of Kentucky 121, they were told by a neighbor they believed the homeowner was still inside.
They went into the home through the bedroom and did not find the occupant at first, however, he was later found unconscious and unresponsive in the living room.
The victim was treated for severe smoke inhalation and taken to Murray-Calloway County Hospital before being flown to an out of state hospital.
Firemen were able to extinguish the blaze.
