I-24 work zones in Lyon and Caldwell counties for next two weeks

A series of daytime work zones are coming to I-24 in Lyon and Caldwell counties for the next two weeks.

Starting Wednesday, various locations between the 34 and 55 mile markers when weather allows between about 8 am and 3pm weekdays.

The restrictions are to allow repair work on the emergency median crossovers between the I-24 Cumberland River Bridge and the Cadiz-Princeton KY 139 Exit 56 interchange.

The work will require one-lane traffic at each site.
