Trigg traffic stop leads to arrest

A woman was arrested Saturday in Cadiz following a traffic stop.

The Trigg County Sheriff's Department reports that 28-year-old Jodi Green was seen slumped over the steering wheel in a parking lot at a Cadiz business on US 68, near I-24.

Green reportedly gave deputies a fake name, and further investigation showed she had warrants out of Christian County.

K9 Rex alerted to drugs in the vehicle, and heroin was found, along with Alprazolam pills.

Green was charged with giving an officer false identifying information, possession of heroin, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
