Traffic stop nets two arrests for DUI, bond violations 

An early morning traffic stop Friday netted two arrests for a DUI and bond violations.

Deputies with the Graves County Sheriff's Office said they stopped a vehicle on the Purchase Parkway, where they conducted a field sobriety test on 38-year-old Carlos Engard of Mayfield. They alleged that Engard failed the sobriety test and was arrested for a DUI.

Upon a vehicle search, they allegedly found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. As part of her bond conditions, the passenger in the vehicle, 30-year-old Niki Blake of Mayfield, was prohibited from having contact with Engard.

England was charged with DUI, possession of methamphetamine and violation of conditions of release. At the same time, Blake was charged with violation of conditions of release.
